Christmas Presents & Birthday Invitations

The first picture is my favorite of Cooper's Christmas presents. It's a toddler-sized backpack with a picture of Noah's Ark and it's personalized with his name! He got this from his Mimi and Poppy(my parents). Even though it's toddler sized we are using it as our diaper bag. It's just too cute not to!

The second picture is the invitation to Cooper's first birthday party! I can't believe we will be celebrating one year with our little man in a couple weeks! It has really flown by! But more on this later... We will be having a Pooh's First Birthday themed party. If any of you have any party suggestions I would love to hear them! I'm especially drawing a blank on the menu! I'd like to do finger foods. I figure a cheese & cracker tray and fruit & veggie tray is a good start, but other than that I'm clueless. So let's hear some suggestions!

Leaky Diapers & Leggings

Last night we stayed with my husband's parents. We realized after we got there that we had forgotten Cooper's bag of clothes(we had diapers, wipes, any medicines we might need though). Clothes were the only thing missing. I had a couple extra outfit in the diaper bag he could sleep in so we decided not to go back home after the clothes. BIG MISTAKE!
This morning he had a big poop and it came out of the side of his diaper ruining one of 2 outfits he has here. A little while ago he proceeded to have another big runny poop that got on the pants of his last outfit. Thankfully the shirt was still clean because it was not a onesie! I was worried about his little legs getting cold playing on the cold hardwood floor though so...... I made him some leggings! I cut the foot parts off of a pair of tube socks and VOILA! Warm legs! Haha

Christmas Happenings!

If you have been reading you know that we have a family bed. Cooper has never been asleep in his own crib. Well after Daddy waking him up at 6 am to open presents, taking about an hour nap, and getting back up to go to Papaw & Nana's across the road, Cooper was Christmased-out. He fell asleep and I carried him home. I decided to try and lay him down because he was OUT. I laid him in his crib and not a flinch! So at almost a year old, Cooper slept in his crib for the very first time!
Cooper got a tricycle from Santa! He loved it! We had to hide it so he would open the rest of his presents!
I hope everyone else had a great Christmas, too!
