Spring is in the Air!

Last weekend we planted some flowers to go on our front porch.

I bought Cooper his own gradening tools!

These will (hopefully) soon be strawberries.

I have never grown anything in my life, so we will see how this little adventure turns out. As of today, all are still alive and well. Its only been a week though. I'm really hoping my strawberries turn out well. I'd also like to thank the nice lady at Walmart that showed me which flowers grow well in pots and other stuff like that. I will let you know how our plants turn out!

My New Hobby

I have decided to take up a hobby. Last week I decided on sewing. Now if you know me you know I'm not the artsy fartsy type. I really envy people that are. I would love to make beautiful works of art like painting or drawing or scupltures but its just not in me. Also, I have never worked a sewing machine in my life. Nor do I have a sewing machine. But my Nana was nice enough to let me use hers. Last week I made a receiving blanket for Cooper. The hem was VERY crooked. Lol Then Tuesday night I made a "tie-together" blanket for him. Today I finished a receiving blanket for a friend who is due next month. I'm proud of myself. This is turning out pretty good.
